RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is a file format based on XML. An RSS feed basicly contains the latest posts or news entries from a blog or website sorted by date (descending). These RSS feeds can be read by an RSS aggregator. There are two types of RSS readers: online RSS readers and desktop RSS readers.
